TRAKTOR AND PIONEER DJ RELEASE NEWS ON COMPATABILITY WITH CDJS

Traktor finally worked out all its kinks and announced their compatibility with Pioneer DJ.

This is a huge relief for upcoming DJ’s who first started out on a Traktor controller or turntables and needs an easy transition to cdjs [pictured above]. Nowadays, DJ’s must be versatile and “not rely on vinyl or controller-based setups everytime”.

With the compatibility between Traktors software and Pioneers hardware, DJ’s now have the ability to spin on different types of DJ setups using the same Traktor Pro 2 software.

“Native Instruments’ TRAKTOR PRO 2 and TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2 DJ software is now compatible with the DVS feature of our flagship DJM-900NXS2 mixer, and the USB – HID control feature of our CDJ-2000NXS2 multi player. This comes under the Pioneer DJ Certification Program, an initiative to evaluate products from other companies and certify them as compatible with our DJ gear so you know you can use them together with confidence.”

APPLE TO REMOVE HEADPHONE JACK FOR FUTURE IPHONES

In this week’s #TrendsinMusic, we shine the spotlight on an already thriving industry,

cell-phone technology.

Sources from Apple’s Chinese manufacturing company released a hint of information in regards to the upcoming iPhone 7 design and features. Rumor states the company may abort the headphone jack capabilities completely. The dismissal of the “corded” headphone jack was a totally shock to the Apple user base and community.

Apple enthusiast’s are skeptical on their next step to embrace bluetooth capabilities for future iPhone’s.

As an Apple iPhone 6 owner, I know all too well the troubles with bluetooth. Constantly failing to connect if multiple users have their bluetooth set to “on” mode; essentially affecting your connection completely. “Ever notice when you hook up to a bluetooth speaker you get ‘spotty’ signal?”

Let’s see how the story unfolds, but until then, what does Apple have planned for their future iPhone listening features?
